Jerry Dunklee is a journalism professor at SCSU in New Haven and has been inducted into the Connecticut Journalism Hall of Fame. During his career he worked as a radio news reporter, news director and talk show host in New Haven, Boston and New York City. He grew up in Montrose, Michigan, a small town near Flint. He survived Michigan State University and holds a masters degree from Emerson College in Boston. While working his way through school, he also worked in factories, construction jobs, as a truck driver and a bartender. He even sold encylcopedias door- to-door. He lives in New Haven.
